POSITION OVERVIEW:


Are you a bold, results-oriented leader with a proven track record in driving sales teams to exceed ambitious targets? We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead a newly launched team focused on selling our proven turnkey software solution, designed to optimize retail performance and growth.


This role is ideal for a data-driven, strategic leader who excels in coaching and mentoring sales talent, executing high-velocity sales strategies, and galvanizing teams to deliver results. As a critical member of our sales leadership, you will drive growth in a private-equity-backed organization experiencing double-digit revenue expansion while advancing the mission to transform retail site selection through cutting-edge technology and analytics.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Sales Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, coach, and inspire both new and legacy sales teams to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Hire, train, and mentor Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, ensuring forecasting accuracy and pipeline hygiene.


Strategic Execution:

  • Develop and implement scalable sales strategies for both SaaS and professional services offerings.
  • Drive outbound prospecting initiatives and optimize the sales process using proven methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger, Sandler).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations to align sales efforts with business goals.


Data-Driven Performance Management:

  • Leverage Salesforce to track team performance, manage pipelines, and deliver accurate forecasts.
  • Analyze sales metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide actionable feedback to reps.


Culture & Team Dynamics:

  • Cultivate a fast-paced, energetic team environment that aligns with the culture of innovation and relentless drive for success.
  • Act as a role model for proactive, results-oriented behavior and strategic decision-making.


PREFERRE PROFILE:


SaaS Sales Expertise:

  • Extensive experience selling SaaS solutions, with a deep understanding of subscription-based revenue models and key SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, LTV, CAC).
  • Proven ability to drive high-velocity sales cycles (<45 days, <$36K ACV).


Sales Methodology Mastery:

  • Hands-on experience with outbound sales strategies and methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN Selling, or Sandler.


Proven Leadership Track Record:

  • 5+ years of experience leading and scaling sales teams in a high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue goals.


Data-Driven & Strategic:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Comfort with Salesforce and leveraging CRM insights to drive team performance.
