COMPANY OVERVIEW:


This is a leading regional provider of infrastructure and industrial services. The Company’s services include pipe rehab, pipe cleaning and inspection, manhole rehab, pipe lining, industrial cleaning, and waste treatment. Through its network of 10 locations and over 200 employees across the Midwest and Southeast U.S., they complete approximately 3,000 projects each year for a diverse customer base across the municipal, industrial and residential sectors. 


The company is active and has completed 7 acquisitions since 2020. The Ohio Valley branch has been operating in Cincinnati for over 20 years and utilizes a team of approximately 40 employees to perform a diverse range of pipe lining, cleaning and inspection services for municipal, industrial and residential customers. The Ohio Valley segment is a growing, high margin business unit with significant expansion opportunity.


POSITION OVERVIEW:


The GM will oversee the daily operations of Ohio Valley segment and be responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of all branch activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business unit strategies. You will drive financial performance, operational excellence, and employee development across multiple service lines.


The OH region is performing well and has grown Sales and EBITDA organically in 2024 and 2025. The company expects the region to continue its growth in 2026 and 2027. Growth will come from:


  • Further investment in the fleet and total crew count of the company’s residential lining business
  • Investment in commercial lining capabilities
  • Capturing additional volume and contracts in the Company’s core cleaning and televising segment.


The successful candidate will be a strategic business leader with a proven track record of success. You will be responsible for a key P&L and will be a visible leader throughout the organization. 


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • In concert with the COO, develop financial goals and strategic initiatives for the OH Business Unit and be accountable for the operations and profitability of the business.
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement. Identify and facilitate additional improvements in delivery of customer service, execution, pricing, and profitability.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to build a high-performing, engaged team.
  • Collaborate with business unit & sales leaders to support sales initiatives, enhance service delivery, optimize resource utilization, and achieve growth targets.
  • Ensure the effective maintenance, organization, and utilization of branch equipment and inventory.
  • Monitor branch financial performance, implement cost control measures, and ensure operational efficiency across multiple service lines.
  • Partner with Human Resources & Business Unit Directors to manage performance reviews, coaching, and employee development plans.
  • Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure branch compliance with all corporate policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between branch operations and business unit & executive leadership, supporting company-wide initiatives and strategic objectives.


PREFERRED PROFILE:


  • Proven leadership experience with a successful track record in team management and operational oversight in residential and/or commercial services industries.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence across all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to mentor and train team members effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, service lines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in budget management, cost control, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
