Regional Director of Operations
The opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing Pilates studio to find a Regional Director of Operations who can turn an ambitious vision into an excellent day-to-day experience. You’ll work closely with the owners, lead the people who bring each class to life, and take ownership of the systems and performance that help the studio grow.
This is a role for someone who enjoys the full picture: coaching a team, making clients feel welcome, using data to spot what needs attention, and building practical processes that make a busy studio run better. You’ll have a direct voice in decisions and the chance to see the impact of your work in the studio every day.
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop instructors, studio leads, and sales staff, from hiring and onboarding through regular coaching and team check-ins.
- Oversee daily operations, class delivery, and the client experience, ensuring the studio is ready from opening through closing.
- Build and improve policies and workflows that help the team solve problems consistently as the business grows.
- Set revenue goals and lead membership sales, retention, and client re-engagement initiatives.
- Coach the team on sales conversations and relationship management, using the CRM to support follow-up.
- Track performance across sales, client experience, staffing, and studio operations, then turn the numbers into clear actions.
- Keep equipment, inventory, retail, and the studio environment at a high standard.
- Resolve client concerns promptly and look for ways to make every stage of their experience better.
- Partner with the owners on priorities, costs, payroll efficiency, reporting, and ideas that can improve the business.
What success looks like
Clients feel looked after from their first class onward. The team knows what good looks like and has the support to deliver it. Membership and revenue grow, daily operations run smoothly, and the owners have a clear picture of performance and where to focus next.
What you’ll bring
- At least five years of operations or general management experience, ideally in boutique fitness, hospitality, or another membership-based service business.
- Experience leading and developing teams in a busy environment, with the confidence to set expectations and give helpful feedback.
- A track record of growing revenue and coaching others to have effective sales conversations.
- Comfort building reports, reading performance data, and using it to make decisions.
- Strong organization and communication skills, a welcoming presence with clients, and the initiative to solve problems before they grow.
- An interest in health and wellness and in helping a studio community thrive.
Why this role
You’ll work directly with ownership and have a meaningful say in how the studio operates and grows. It’s an opportunity to build a strong team, improve the client experience, and put your ideas into practice across the people, processes, and commercial side of the business.
