Assistant General Manager – Hospitality-Driven, Scratch Kitchen Concept


We’re looking for a passionate and driven Assistant General Manager to help lead a high-quality, scratch-based restaurant where food, culture, and guest experience come first.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with the General Manager to create an environment where both guests and team members feel valued.

You’ll play a key role in delivering memorable dining experiences, supporting team development, and ensuring the restaurant operates at a high level every day.


What You’ll Do


Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience

Be present on the floor, connecting with guests and ensuring every visit is memorable. Lead by example in creating a warm, genuine hospitality experience and step in quickly to resolve any issues.


Support and Elevate Food Quality

Work alongside the culinary team to protect the integrity of a scratch kitchen. Ensure consistency, proper execution, and pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen.


Lead and Develop the Team

Support hiring, training, and coaching team members to perform at a high level. Help create a positive, team-focused culture built on respect, accountability, and growth.


Execute Daily Operations

Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations including service flow, cleanliness, and organization. Help ensure shifts run smoothly and standards are consistently met.


Drive Results

Support the GM in managing financial performance, including labor, cost controls, and sales-driving initiatives, while maintaining a focus on quality and guest satisfaction.


Be a Culture Champion

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service environment
  • Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and food quality
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Solid understanding of both front and back of house operations
  • Ability to stay organized and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on, team-oriented leadership style
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
