We’re seeking a Store Manager to lead a high-volume gourmet food market known for quality, hospitality, and elevated standards. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership — owning performance, culture, and execution across every department.
What You’ll Own
- Lead all departments including deli, produce, meat, seafood, grocery, bakery, prepared foods, pizza, wine & cheese, and front end
- Ensure operational excellence, cleanliness, food safety, and presentation standards
- Directly manage and develop department managers
- Build a strong leadership bench through hiring, coaching, and succession planning
- Analyze KPIs and implement strategies to grow revenue and protect margins
- Partner with buyers and department leaders on cost control and vendor performance
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and decisively
- Oversee events, tastings, and community engagement initiatives
- Ensure merchandising, signage, and pricing accuracy throughout the store
- Maintain compliance with labor laws, health codes, OSHA standards, and alcohol regulations
- Ensure readiness for inspections, audits, and loss prevention procedures
What You Bring
- 3+ years of leadership experience in grocery, food retail, or hospitality
- Strong operational and financial acumen with P&L management experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive accountability
