Restaurant Manager: Training and Development


Our high-volume, quick service restaurant is looking for a dedicated Training & Development Manager to lead people development efforts at the location level, with potential to grow into a multi-unit market support role. This is a field-based position for a leader who is passionate about building people, elevating operational standards, and creating the systems that allow great teams to consistently perform.

What You'll Do

  • Drive all three training pillars across team member and manager levels
  • Conduct ongoing operational assessments and document findings to identify training gaps and support needs
  • Lead and validate execution of advanced training programs for both hourly and management staff
  • Facilitate certification courses including food safety and train-the-trainer programs
  • Take ownership of internal development for all restaurant staff through both direct coaching and indirect influence
  • Collaborate with ownership and senior leadership to align training strategy with overall business performance
  • Partner with recruitment to align internal candidate readiness with current and future growth needs

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant operations (required); multi-unit or field training experience strongly preferred
  • Quick service or fast casual background preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • ServSafe Certified Instructor and Registered Proctor status, or ability to obtain within first 60 days
  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, and able to manage shifting priorities with composure
  • Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken, written, and reading) highly preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation


Benefits
