Executive Chef

Westwood, MA

If you’re ready to run your kitchen like it’s your own business — with real influence, strong compensation, and the ability to build a team and menu you’re proud of — this is your opportunity.

We’re hiring an Executive Chef to lead a high-volume, Italian-inspired, neighborhood-driven concept known for vibrant energy, polished execution, and a loyal guest following. This is a scratch-driven, hospitality-first environment where food quality, culture, and profitability matter equally.

What’s In It For You

  • $100,000 – $125,000 base compensation
  • Paid vacation, sick, and holiday time
  • Medical, Dental, Vision
  • Flexible & Dependent Care Spending Accounts
  • Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)
  • 100% company-paid LTD, Life & AD&D Insurance
  • Strong 401k match
  • Employee ownership opportunity — build equity while you build the business
  • 35% dining discount (food & beverage)
  • Referral bonuses & tenure rewards
  • Telemedicine access
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Additional voluntary benefit options

This is more than a job — it’s a leadership role with long-term upside.

The Role

As Executive Chef, you will own the kitchen. This includes:

  • Full oversight of BOH operations in a high-volume environment
  • Driving labor and food cost performance
  • Budgeting and financial accountability
  • Menu engineering and execution
  • Hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Building a disciplined, high-performing, positive kitchen culture
  • Maintaining safety, sanitation, and operational standards

You’ll partner closely with front-of-house leadership to ensure the guest experience matches the energy of the concept: welcoming, polished, and fun — without losing culinary integrity.

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years as an Executive Chef in a high-volume setting
  • Strong financial acumen (P&L, food cost, labor modeling)
  • Proven ability to develop and retain BOH talent
  • Passion for Italian-inspired cuisine and scratch execution
  • Calm, composed leadership under pressure
  • Culinary degree preferred (exceptional experience considered)
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and peak business periods

If you’re a chef who understands that great culture drives great food — and great food drives great business — let’s talk.
