Catering & Kitchen Manager – Gourmet Market
Our Catering & Kitchen Manager is a key leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional food, service, and hospitality - both in our gourmet market kitchen and through every catering order we fulfill.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with kitchen, deli, and bakery to ensure orders are accurate, well-presented, and on time
- Maintain catering calendars, invoices, and order logs
- Build and refresh seasonal menus and promotional catering packages
Kitchen Operations
- Oversee daily kitchen workflow, prep schedules, and production to meet in-store and catering demand
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance
- Develop fresh, seasonal prepared food offerings in collaboration with department managers
- Monitor food costs, portioning, and waste reduction
Team Leadership
- Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate catering and kitchen staff
- Coach the team on culinary standards, hospitality, and communication
Qualifications
- 2+ years in catering, kitchen management, or hospitality
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations; ServSafe certification a plus
- Proficient in Excel, email, and ordering software
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Work Environment
Fast-paced kitchen and catering environment with frequent guest interaction. Requires extended standing, working in varying temperatures, and occasional lifting of trays, boxes, or packaged orders.
