Overview of the Position


Job Title: Nephrologist

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Hours & Schedule: Full Time

Travel Required: No Travel

Salary / Hourly Rate: $250,000 - $280,000 per year

Bonus Offered: Bonus Eligible

Job Summary

The Nephrologist will deliver comprehensive care for patients with kidney-related conditions, including managing chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and end-stage renal disease. This position requires a commitment to exceptional patient care, ongoing professional development, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.


Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat conditions related to kidney function, including hypertension and electrolyte disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic kidney disease.
  • Provide medical oversight for dialysis treatments and coordinate with dialysis centers.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care physicians and specialists, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with medical standards and guidelines.
  • Stay current on advancements in nephrology and incorporate best practices into patient care.



Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Nephrology.
  • Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in Arizona.
  • DEA certification.
  • Proven expertise in managing a wide range of kidney-related health conditions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
