Hours & Schedule: Full-Time (M-F 7am-4pm (schedule varies))

Work Environment: Adolescent Residential Treatment Facility

Salary / Hourly Rate: $60,000 – $65,000 per year

Job Summary

The House Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations and oversight of an adolescent Behavioral Health Residential Treatment Facility in Glendale. This role ensures appropriate staff coverage, provides mentorship and support to Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), coordinates care with clinical teams, manages facility logistics, and supports the implementation of individualized treatment plans. The House Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and well-organized environment.


Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Schedule and ensure adequate BHT staffing coverage for the assigned house
  • Monitor, review, and approve timecards for assigned staff
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support to BHTs
  • Escalate performance concerns to the Executive Director as needed
  • Assist BHTs with documentation questions and compliance support
  • Coordinate and complete all client intake and discharge procedures
  • Collaborate with the Admissions Coordinator to manage bed availability
  • Work alongside the Family Liaison to support family engagement
  • Identify case management needs and coordinate plans with clinical staff
  • Notify the Program Supervisor or Clinical Director of significant client events
  • Manage household inventory and oversee weekly ordering of food and supplies
  • Conduct, document, and review emergency and safety drills
  • Coordinate facility repairs, maintenance, and upkeep
  • Ensure facility cleanliness in accordance with infection control standards
  • Maintain ethical and professional standards, including confidentiality
  • Support and comply with all agency policies, procedures, and practices
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of behavioral health work experience
  • At least 6 months of experience working with adolescents, or willingness to complete adolescent-specific training
  • Experience with documentation, data tracking, and report generation using spreadsheets
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet agency driving requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Possess or be eligible to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
