Position Overview
A respected, physician-owned orthopedic group in Gilbert, Arizona is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join its established surgical team. This full-time position is focused entirely on elective spine procedures, offering autonomy, stability, and a supportive environment designed for long-term professional success.
The practice follows an integrated care model featuring on-site imaging, physical therapy, and advanced practice provider (APP) support, ensuring coordinated care and operational efficiency. With a robust referral network and consistent case flow, this role is ideal for a spine surgeon who values independence and predictability without trauma or emergency responsibilities.
Clinical Structure
- Clinic Days: 2 per week
- Surgery Days: 2–3 per week with guaranteed block OR time
- Call: 1:3, limited to your own patients and supported by APPs
- Environment: Private orthopedic group with full administrative and diagnostic resources
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $400,000 – $650,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Incentives: RVU-based bonus program

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat spinal disorders including degenerative, deformity, and structural conditions
- Perform elective procedures such as fusions, decompressions, discectomies, and minimally invasive surgeries
- Manage pre- and post-operative care in collaboration with the clinical team
- Partner with physical therapy and rehabilitation teams to optimize recovery
- Document care and outcomes within the EMR system
- Contribute to clinical excellence and continuous program growth
Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited orthopedic surgery residency
- Fellowship training in Spine Surgery (required)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
- Proficient in elective and minimally invasive spine procedures
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and leadership skills
