Location: Prescott Valley, AZ
Hours & Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, Day Shift
Work Environment: Outpatient therapy clinic
Salary / Hourly Rate: $120k - $140k / year

Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist Manager oversees the operations of the physical therapy department, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role combines clinical responsibilities with leadership, including supervising staff, managing departmental functions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Manager is also expected to maintain a clinical caseload as a practicing Physical Therapist.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the physical therapy team, providing clinical and administrative oversight
- Provide direct patient care as a licensed Physical Therapist
- Develop and enforce written policies and procedures for physical therapy operations
- Create and implement short- and long-term departmental goals and work plans
- Coordinate interdisciplinary efforts with physicians and administration to meet service goals
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, supply purchasing, and budgeting for the department
- Conduct team meetings, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure employee and patient rights are upheld
- Utilize EHR systems effectively to support patient care and compliance
- Promote continuous professional development and conduct timely performance reviews
- Lead with integrity by modeling AEIOU behavioral standards and management expectations
- Monitor and adjust therapy programs to ensure optimal clinical outcomes
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Perform quality audits and drive improvement in financial, service, and quality metrics
- Educate staff and patients on physical therapy theory and practices
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Current Physical Therapist license in Arizona
- CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of TQM and supervisory concepts
- Skills in budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and quality auditing
- Ability to communicate effectively and build professional relationships
- Physical ability to bend, lift, and transfer patients; use computer and calculator
