A respected outpatient family medicine clinic in North Tucson, AZ is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its care team. Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)

Incentives: Percentage-based bonus tied to collections

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventive exams, screenings, and wellness visits
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
  • Manage chronic health conditions such as hypertension, COPD, and diabetes
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory results, diagnostic tests, and imaging studies
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, prevention strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and oversee follow-up care
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in the EHR
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes


Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Arizona license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Graduate of a U.S.-accredited NP or PA program (Note: Puerto Rico-based programs not eligible)
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Credentialing eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
  • No history of malpractice or disciplinary action
  • Preferred: Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient primary care or family medicine
