Job Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Primary Care)

Location: Prescott, AZ

Hours & Schedule: Full-Time

Work Environment: Outpatient Clinical Setting

Travel Required: No

Salary / Hourly Rate: $140,000 – $160,000 annually

Bonus Offered: Percent of Collections

Average Patient Volume: 15-20 Patients/day

Job Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our Primary Care setting, you will provide direct, hands-on medical care to a diverse patient population. You'll diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions, perform preventive screenings, and promote health through patient education. Working alongside a team of experienced clinicians, you'll play a vital role in improving health outcomes and supporting patient well-being in our community.


Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and interpret diagnostic results
  • Diagnose and treat acute conditions such as infections and minor injuries
  • Manage chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and obesity
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments
  • Provide empathetic, patient-centered care that addresses both physical and emotional health
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and nursing staff to coordinate care
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive health
  • Coordinate referrals and hospital admissions when clinically indicated
  • Accurately document all patient interactions in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Conduct wellness screenings and guide health promotion efforts
  • Stay current with clinical knowledge through CME and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations


Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the State of Arizona (or in process)
  • Completion of a NP/PA Program in USA (Not Puerto Rico)
  • Current DEA license or eligibility
  • BLS Certification (ACLS preferred)
  • 1+ year of Primary Care experience preferred
