Job Overview:
Our Client is seeking a Director of Information and Security to lead global IT operations across cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud services, server management, DevOps, Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), and desktop support. In this senior role, you will safeguard critical data and systems, develop and execute a business-aligned IT strategy, and ensure the reliability, resiliency, and performance of enterprise technology.
You will operate at the intersection of IT and the business for a global software leader serving the manufacturing ecosystem—including aerospace, automotive, and medical sectors. Partnering closely with product development, software engineering, and support, you will enable secure product releases, licensing and cloud integrations, and GPU performance partnerships while advancing operational excellence in a collaborative, problem-solving culture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, business-aligned IT strategy and roadmap
- Identify technology trends and opportunities to enhance efficiency and competitiveness in the Software & Technology industry
- Plan, prioritize, and oversee IT projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Provide responsive support to internal stakeholders to ensure reliable applications and a positive user experience
- Design and manage cybersecurity operations, including prevention, detection, monitoring, and incident response
- Establish and operate infrastructure services across servers, networking, connectivity, and DRaaS
- Design, develop, and manage cloud operations
- Lead and mentor desktop support personnel and ensure high-quality end-user services
- Conduct security framework assessments, reviews, and audits; remediate identified gaps
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures to protect sensitive and proprietary data
- Deliver companywide cybersecurity awareness and training programs
- Continuously monitor and mitigate cybersecurity risks; respond to security incidents as necessary
- Collaborate with product development on new features, including licensing and cloud integrations
- Partner with software development and support on DevOps practices, secure software release processes, release cycles, and GPU performance partnerships
- Perform additional projects and duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or related field; relevant cybersecurity certifications accepted
- 5–7+ years of proven experience in IT and/or information security within the Software & Technology sector
- Hands-on experience managing cloud services with a strong understanding of cloud system architecture
- Demonstrated adherence to strict cybersecurity and ethical standards
- Experience designing and deploying hardware to high standards while ensuring an excellent end-user experience
- Track record of delivering swift resolutions to technology issues and effectively mitigating impacts
- Strong attention to detail in audits, reviews, and compliance activities
- Experience ensuring proper software licensing and compliance with legal and regulatory standards
- Passion for enhancing the user experience across tools and services
- Preferred: Computer Science degree and/or additional industry certifications
