Octagon Talent Solutions is seeking an IBM i-Series (AS/400) Engineer to join a highly experienced technical team in the Miami area. What You'll Do

• Support and maintain IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) environments for mid-market clients
• Handle batch processing, job scheduling, and end-of-day/closing operations
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and support day-to-day operations
• Participate in platform administration, configuration, and client engagements
• Collaborate with infrastructure and managed services teams across a diverse client base

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) platforms at any level
• Background in banking, logistics, or operations environments where IBM i is used for closing processes, batch jobs, or back-office workflows
• Familiarity with RPG, CL, or green-screen navigation is a plus
• Strong problem-solving instincts and a client-service mindset
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an MSP environment
