PD 20: Training and Development Manager – Skill Level 4 – SIOB office (NGA-W)
Duties Include:
- Develop a program that will familiarize both internal and external customers with the capabilities and services SIOB provides
- Assist in the assessment of communications metrics and data to inform strategic communications decisions
- Develop and edit briefings, project, and concept plans while assisting other members of the Communications Team
- Issue memoranda, briefings, design documents, as required
- Assess communications metrics and data to inform strategic communications decisions
Required/Desired Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in preparing lesson plans, course outlines, schedules, and assignments using learning management system (LMS) and learning management video (LMV)
- Demonstrated experience in technical design, development, implementation, and evaluating technical training programs
- Demonstrated experience in improving and modifying the training for assigned courses.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting training and assessing progress of students in meeting desired objectives, including advising and assisting them to improve their performance
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and maintaining training records, progress reports, qualifications and other documentation as required to certify worker qualifications for audit and historical purposes
- Demonstrated experience in developing and administering written and practical examinations
- Demonstrated experience in explaining key concepts and principles and creating assignments or hands-on activities to allow students to develop practical skills.
- Demonstrated experience working in close collaboration with other internal teams and stakeholders to develop course content and goals.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing metrics and surveys for determining course outcomes and participant performance
