Role: Founding Account Executive | Asset Tracking & Supply Chain Technology

Location: Remote — Eastern or Central U.S. | National Territory

Compensation OTE: $160,000–$200,000, with flexibility to discuss a lower base and greater performance-based upside.

The Kostelic Agency has partnered with an emerging supply-chain technology company to identify a Founding Account Executive to launch a new asset-tracking business across the U.S.

The company’s connected devices help businesses track the location, temperature and movement of reusable shipping carriers and equipment. More than 10,000 sensors are already deployed within its own pallet operation. The next step: bring that technology to customers managing valuable assets across manufacturing, logistics, construction and other industrial markets.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll help determine which markets to pursue, win the first enterprise customers and build a sales process future hires can follow.

Scope & Impact

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys opening doors and building business from the ground up. You’ll own the full sales cycle, with access to the founders, technical team and existing industry relationships.

Potential applications include cable and fiber reels, transport racks, construction equipment, storage containers and other assets that move between locations with limited visibility. Customers purchase multiyear device subscriptions and access their tracking data through a web platform, with no systems integration required to get started.

Where You’ll Add Value

• Identify promising industries, target accounts and opportunities for large-scale device deployments.
• Build pipeline through direct outreach, industry relationships, trade shows and channel partners.
• Lead product demonstrations and translate tracking data into practical business value.
• Develop savings cases around asset loss, recovery, utilization and time spent locating equipment.
• Guide prospects through trials, proposals, negotiations and multiyear subscription agreements.
• Partner with technical leadership on detailed product questions and customer requirements.
• Establish clear account records, pipeline reporting and a repeatable sales process.

The Build

We’re looking for a resourceful business developer who can create opportunities and carry them through to a signed agreement.

• A track record of winning new enterprise accounts and closing complex, high-value deals.
• Experience selling technology, physical products, subscriptions or services into logistics, manufacturing, construction or related industrial markets.
• Confidence working with operations leaders, procurement teams and CFOs.
• Technical fluency to learn the platform, lead demos and explain the customer value.
• Independence to create presentations, develop outreach and manage competing opportunities.
• An honest, collaborative approach and strong ownership of results.

Experience in asset tracking, telematics, industrial IoT, returnable packaging, equipment rental or material handling would be valuable. Relevant customer relationships and demonstrated sales results matter more than an exact industry match.

Compensation & Work Model

• Base salary: $132,000–$144,000.
• Targeted OTE: $160,000–$200,000, with flexibility to discuss a lower base and greater performance-based upside.
• Potential equity participation for the right candidate.
• Medical, dental and vision coverage; 401(k); unlimited.
• Remote from the Eastern or Central U.S., with occasional early calls with European leadership.
• Approximately ~40% travel to customer sites and industry events, including overnight stays; actual travel will depend on business needs.
