Job Description

Support the Chief Financial Officer in crafting the annual budget and conduct thorough analyses comparing actual expenditures against the budget to ensure financial discipline and efficiency across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead in the development and execution of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Evaluate and critique budget proposals from various departments.
• Conduct quarterly assessments comparing budget forecasts with actual expenditures, providing detailed reports to department heads.
• Analyze monthly spending to identify trends and areas for financial optimization.
• Report monthly financial variances directly to the CFO, highlighting significant discrepancies.
• Generate monthly and yearly financial reports, offering insights into the company's financial health.
• Support the CFO in managing pension contributions and related financial tasks.
• Collaborate with the Controller on accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Undertake ad hoc projects to support financial management and company objectives.

Requirements and Skills:

• Strong foundation in accounting principles.
• Mastery of Excel and superior reporting capabilities.
• Familiarity with data analysis and forecasting techniques, backed by excellent mathematical skills and an analytical approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively convey financial information.
• Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial documentation and analysis.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, evidencing a solid educational background in financial management.
