Primary Purpose:

The International Sales Support Specialist will work under minimal supervision to support the Sales team within the International business unit. This role involves coordinating cross-functional activities across various departments to advance the sales process from initial inquiry to contract finalization and project completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver professional sales quotations, proposals, and tender submissions to potential clients in the international market, and follow up on these documents as necessary.
  • Craft correspondence and memoranda that support the company's business initiatives in international markets, addressing diverse audiences such as country agents, clients, public officials, and U.S. Embassy staff overseas.
  • Identify new sales leads and gather intelligence on customers and competitors.
  • Coordinate with Business Development, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure timely organization and delivery of all project-related elements from bid preparation to project execution.
  • Generate and present reports on business development and marketing activities, including the use of CRM tools like Salesforce, to leadership.
  • Lead major international bid proposal projects.
  • Conduct research to pinpoint promising export markets and monitor competitor activities.
  • Analyze political, financial, and technological trends in the international market to leverage opportunities and mitigate competitive threats.
  • Comply with company policies and legal requirements, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
  • Travel to other company locations or customer sites as needed.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Complete fluency in Spanish.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
  • Superior planning and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple deadlines under pressure.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (with a focus on Marketing, Accounting, or Finance) or Engineering.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
