Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to lead and execute initiatives that drive long-term growth through partnerships, alliances, and corporate development activities. This is a high-impact, newly created role designed to support our continued expansion following a recent acquisition. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in both M&A and strategic partnerships within the biotech or SaaS sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and execute strategic partnership opportunities aligned with the company’s long-term goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, including technology platforms, R&D collaborators, service providers, and commercial partners.
  • Lead end-to-end deal processes for strategic alliances, joint ventures, co-development agreements, and other partnership structures.
  • Support future M&A activities, including market analysis, due diligence, financial modeling, and integration planning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Product, R&D, and Commercial) to align strategic initiatives with business objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform corporate strategy.
  • Present strategic partnership opportunities and deal rationale to executive leadership and board members.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, strategic partnerships, or business development.
  • Proven track record of sourcing, structuring, and executing strategic deals.
  • Industry experience in biotech, life sciences, healthcare technology, or SaaS is strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop and interpret deal models and valuations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
