🔬 Position Overview
Our client is seeking an Associate Scientist II (Biologics) to support laboratory testing activities for large molecule/biologics product development and stability studies under cGMP regulations. This role is responsible for executing analytical methods, generating accurate data, and supporting documentation in a regulated environment.
🧪 Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing for biologics using compendial and advanced analytical techniques, including:
- Appearance, pH, osmolality, particulate measurements, viscosity
- Karl Fischer titration
- UV-Vis spectroscopy
- HPLC/UPLC methods (SEC, IEX, RP-HPLC, HIC, peptide mapping, glycan analysis)
- Aggregation techniques (MFI, AUC, SEC-MALS)
- Capillary and gel electrophoresis (CE-SDS, SDS-PAGE, icIEF, IEF, Western Blot)
- FTIR, Circular Dichroism (CD), intrinsic fluorescence, DSC
- Follow and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with strong attention to detail
- Train and become proficient in 1–2 analytical methods and perform routine and ad hoc sample testing
- Apply fundamental scientific principles in laboratory testing and analysis
- Ensure accurate, complete, and compliant documentation in alignment with cGMP requirements
- Support drafting of simple analytical methods, forms, and technical reports
- Operate laboratory equipment safely and in compliance with internal procedures
- Maintain adherence to quality, safety, and ethical standards at all times
- Perform additional duties as assigned
🎓 Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry)

Experience: Entry-level role; no prior experience required
