Job Title: Associate Scientist II (Biologics – Cell Culture & Bioassays)

Location: Onsite – Missouri, USA (Open to local residents)

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Temp-to-Hire) through ProQuality Network


🔬 Position Overview

Our client is seeking an Associate Scientist II to support biologics product development through laboratory testing, method drafting, and data reporting under cGMP regulations. This role focuses on cell culture, bioassays, and molecular biology techniques to support large molecule therapeutics and stability studies.


🧪 Key Responsibilities

  • Execute laboratory testing using advanced biologics techniques, including:
  • Mammalian cell culture and aseptic/sterile techniques
  • In vitro cell-based assays (e.g., reporter gene assays, CellTiter-Glo proliferation assays)
  • ELISA assays (quantitative and potency: fluorescence, luminescence, colorimetric, MSD)
  • Molecular biology techniques (qPCR, PCR)
  • Kinetic binding analysis (BLI or SPR)
  • Flow cytometry
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with strict attention to detail
  • Train and become proficient in 1–2 laboratory techniques and perform routine/ad hoc testing under cGMP
  • Apply scientific principles to generate accurate and reliable data
  • Ensure complete, accurate, and compliant documentation aligned with cGMP standards
  • Support drafting of methods, forms, and technical reports
  • Operate laboratory equipment safely and in compliance with internal procedures
  • Maintain adherence to quality, safety, and ethical standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned


🎓 Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field)
  • Experience: Entry-level role; no prior experience required
