Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Chemist to perform analytical testing and laboratory activities that support quality, compliance, and operational objectives within a regulated laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with chromatography, analytical instrumentation, laboratory testing, and compendial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and analytical testing of samples according to established procedures and specifications.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical laboratory equipment, including HPLC, UV, and IR instrumentation.
• Execute analytical methods, evaluate data, and interpret test results.
• Use Empower chromatography software for data acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
• Support laboratory investigations, analytical method execution, and technical problem-solving activities.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation in accordance with applicable procedures and data integrity requirements.
• Apply applicable USP and EP pharmacopeial standards when performing laboratory activities.
• Collaborate with laboratory, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to support operational and business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry.
• 3–5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, including:
• HPLC
• UV spectrophotometry
• IR spectrophotometry
• Other analytical laboratory equipment
• Working knowledge of chromatography principles and techniques.
• Experience using Empower chromatography software.
• Knowledge of USP, EP, and related pharmacopeial requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
