Job Purpose

 

This a new role in the company that is growing its market share quickly in Ireland. You will report directly to the Managing Director who will support you in building a sales pipeline in the greater Leinster area.

 

There will be a strong emphasis on winning new business and nurturing and growing existing accounts with contractors in the construction sector. Customers also include manufacturing companies, warehouses, pharma, and facilities management businesses.

 

You will be given clear sales targets as part of your KPIs and the opportunity to earn excellent bonuses as part of your overall package.

 

Ideal Candidate

 

We’re looking for someone with a strong field sales track record in a construction-related industry, ideally in access equipment, plant, or tool hire. The ideal candidate will be sales-focused, customer-driven, and an effective communicator with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in the business.

 

Key Requirements, Competencies & Skills 

 

  • Full driving licence and currently living in Dublin or South Leinster area
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets by developing new and existing contracts
  • At least 3 years experience in a field-based sales role with a construction sector business or adjacent industry (Ideal industry background is in in access equipment, plant or tool hire)
  • Commercially aware – Numerically strong on margins and markups
  • Initiate contact with potential and lapsed contract customers and set up initial meetings
  • Experienced in using a CRM platform to build your sales pipeline

 

Package & Benefits

 

·        Circa €50k basic salary - DOE

·        Bonus scheme (paid quarterly)

·        Fully expensed company car with fuel card or car allowance
