Job Description:

Our client is looking for skilled design enthusiasts with proficiency in software like Revit, AutoCad, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Candidates must demonstrate a keen interest in mentorship, leading design teams, and fostering staff growth for their Direct Hire opportunity.

This role involves overseeing architectural services to project completion and expanding our business via client interaction.

Our client operates both remotely and on-site, servicing various building types and environments. Our client portfolio spans public education, local government, and cultural sectors, as well as private commercial, housing, and industrial markets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
• NCARB Certificate and registration in Virginia, or ability to obtain through reciprocity
• Proficient in building construction techniques, products, and systems
• Skilled in general design standards, documentation, drawing, and specifications
• Experience in training and directing others
• Ability to design and plan major construction projects
• Understanding of national building codes and local zoning ordinances
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture and Revit
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent written and communication skills, team-oriented
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Understanding of architectural production procedures and construction techniques
• Familiarity with construction costs/scheduling, internal budgeting
• Proactive problem-solving abilities
• Enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work.
