Overview:


Our client, a distinguished multi-office mid-Atlantic architecture and engineering firm, is seeking experienced Licensed Architects to lead and innovate within their collaborative work environment. This role offers the opportunity to engage deeply in the creative process, deliver excellent solutions, and influence the growth of the practice!

 

Responsibilities:


  • Lead architectural projects from conceptual design through completion, emphasizing public educational buildings, cultural centers, and government facilities.
  • Utilize a broad range of design tools including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Mentor and support staff development, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
  • Engage in business development and client interaction to expand the firm's reach and impact.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects ensuring they are on time and within budget.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:


  • Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
  • Must hold an NCARB Certificate and be registered or eligible for registration in Virginia through NCARB reciprocity.
  • Extensive knowledge of building construction techniques and systems across structural, electrical, mechanical, and fire protection domains.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively within a diverse team environment.
