Overview:
A full-service engineering company specializing in telecommunications for commercial, utility, and public safety markets is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer. This role involves determining electrical and grounding scope, identifying site issues, and design constraints for telecommunications installations. The ideal candidate will have a high level of engineering expertise and experience with AutoCAD.
Responsibilities:
- Determine electrical and grounding scope for telecommunications installations.
- Identify site issues and design constraints.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and the CAD Team to produce construction documentation.
- Ensure the preparation of accurate, complete, and timely deliverables, signing and sealing them when required.
- Act as liaison between clients, internal teams, vendors, and project managers.
- Perform some project management duties.
- Travel to verify the scope of work at sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and PE Certificate.
- Experience in telecommunications is a plus.
- Proficiency with AC and DC power systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Strong client management skills and excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage priorities.
- Exposure to high altitudes and all weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
