Our Client is looking for a great Field Service Technician to join their team on a Direct Hire/Full Time basis.
Summary:
Serve as a premier Field Service Expert within the designated territory, nurturing and enhancing business relationships that elevate our brand as a leader in unmatched product support.
Engage in proactive communication and strategize with the regional sales and parts teams to achieve ambitious sales and support targets.
Core Responsibilities:
• Efficient management of territory and time to promptly and effectively address client equipment issues in challenging scenarios.
• Prompt travel to client sites for comprehensive troubleshooting of equipment issues, spanning electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and related systems.
• Deliver professional communication regarding repairs, production concerns, quality issues, and client feedback.
• Conduct on-site or remote training sessions covering equipment operation, diagnostics, and maintenance techniques for clients and partners.
• Offer multichannel technical support (including email, phone, and messaging) and handle warranty and service goodwill matters.
• Facilitate equipment inspections and coordinate necessary repairs, ensuring thorough documentation for record-keeping.
• Promote authorized repair centers to clients, guiding them on repair services and parts acquisition, both within and outside warranty conditions.
• Support in assessing and onboarding service centers, ensuring they meet high service standards.
• Regularly compile and submit detailed service reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, particularly in specific applications and processes relevant to the field.
• Tackle additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
• Exceptional communication capabilities.
• A minimum of 5 years of technical expertise, (+10 years of experience preferred).
• Willingness to travel around 75% of the time.
Education and Training:
• An Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience in Engineering, Heavy Machinery, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced understanding of mobile hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Fluency in multiple languages (preferred, not required).
Additional Requirements:
• Completion of mandatory safety training.
• Participation in comprehensive on-the-job training programs.
