Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze structural systems for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood buildings
• Develop design criteria and system designs from concept through construction
• Perform structural calculations, connection design, and foundation design
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and review shop drawings
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and construction documents
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate on complex engineering problems
• Work with advanced design software and stay involved through construction phases
• Conduct field verification and produce field reports as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's with structural emphasis preferred)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred)
• 5+ years of on-the-job structural engineering experience
• Proficiency in Revit (required), AutoCAD, Staad, and Tedds
• Experience with steel buildings, concrete, masonry, and lateral systems
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Ability to interpret design documents and apply engineering codes
