Overview:

Our client is hiring for a creative and experienced Land Planner/Landscape Architecture Department Manager. This role involves leading and managing the department, focusing on impactful community and regional projects!

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Landscape Architecture and Planning team.
• Manage design development, contract documents, cost estimates, and client relations.
• Supervise staff and mentor early-career professionals.
• Oversee exciting projects like master-planned developments, urban sites, parks, and mixed-use projects.
• Build and grow the department.
• Partner with clients to advance site plans and manage entitlement processes.
• Present to public officials and planning boards.
• Engage in business development, networking, and proposal writing.
• Oversee project contracts, invoicing, and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, or Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration as a Landscape Architect, Certified Planner, or Professional Engineer.
• 8+ years of experience in Land Planning / Landscape Architecture.
• Strong background in land development design and construction documents.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent financial management and communication skills.
• Experience with local codes, ordinances, and public agency standards.
• Business development skills and knowledge of the local market.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
