Are you an experienced conveyor belting professional who understands belt installation, field service operations, and what it takes to keep customers running?

Our client, a leading industrial distributor, is seeking an Account Specialist – Belt to support and grow its conveyor belting service operations across a multi-state territory. This is a unique opportunity for someone with hands-on belting experience who has led installation crews, managed field service operations, or supervised a belt shop.

This is not a traditional sales position. There are no individual sales quotas or commission targets. Instead, you will serve as the critical link between field sales, belt installation crews, customers, and the company's conveyance operations.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate and schedule conveyor belt installation crews for planned projects, emergency repairs, and service callouts.
• Oversee field service activities to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA and OSHA safety requirements at customer job sites.
• Serve as the primary liaison between field sales teams and internal conveyance operations.
• Support sales representatives on joint customer visits, providing practical knowledge of conveyor belting applications, installation, and repair solutions.
• Help expand the company's belt repair and service business by identifying opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.
• Support both heavyweight and lightweight conveyor belting applications across industrial and commercial environments.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges, coordinate resources, and help resolve service issues.
• Work closely with belt shops, field crews, customers, and internal teams across the assigned territory.

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the conveyor belting industry.
• Hands-on conveyor belt installation and repair experience is essential.
• Previous experience leading belt installation crews, supervising field service teams, managing a belt shop, or other relevant leadership/management experience.
• Strong understanding of conveyor belt installation practices, maintenance, repair, and field service operations.
• Knowledge of MSHA and OSHA safety requirements.
• Experience with heavyweight industrial conveyor belting; familiarity with lightweight belting is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate crews, prioritize urgent service needs, and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to recognize opportunities to expand service business.

Compensation & Location

• Compensation: $150-160K
• Company Vehicle: Company truck provided, with personal use permitted under company policy.
• Location: Preferred to be within commuting distance of Grand Prairie, TX, or San Antonio, TX.
• Travel: 50% field-based and 50% office-based, with overnight travel averaging two days per week.
• Schedule: Occasional after-hours and weekend emergency service coordination may be required.
