Optimum Staffing Solutions is partnered with a company near Philadelphia, PA that is looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their team!

What you will do

• Create detailed mechanical drawings and bills of material for equipment and subsystems
• Support design and development of complex machinery and capital equipment
• Work closely with Project Engineers and cross-functional teams
• Apply sound engineering practices and design for manufacturability and usability
• Contribute to systems involving vacuum, water cooling, hydraulics, and electromechanical drives
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills you need

• 1–3 years of mechanical design experience
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD
• Strong aptitude for mechanical and machine design
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (domestic and international)
