We are representing an elite property advocacy firm on a mission to set the gold standard in claims representation. They’re seeking a Director of People Operations to develop and lead a comprehensive people strategy. This is a high-impact, in-person role for a "people-first" strategist who has successfully scaled talent acquisition, built positive workplace cultures, and implemented scalable HR initiatives.


The Role:

You will manage the entire employee lifecycle across a multi-state workforce, ensuring every team member is engaged and high-performing. This role reports directly to the CFO and oversees a Talent Acquisition Consultant and a Training & Development Specialist.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Culture Leadership: Champion a values-driven environment and lead performance management cycles, including goal setting and career development.
  • Talent & Engagement: Develop programs that drive retention and morale, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership on team dynamics.
  • Compliance & Ops: Ensure federal and state compliance across all operating locations, maintaining handbooks and optimizing HRIS systems.
  • Strategic Support: Partner with legal counsel and HR consultants to balance compliance with strategic growth initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years in HR/People Operations with 3+ years in a management capacity.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of federal/state employment laws and strong expertise in performance management and people strategy.
  • Mindset: A "people-first" builder with the ability to influence leadership and manage complex projects.
  • Tools: Experience with HRIS systems and modern recruiting tools.
  • Certification: SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred but not required.
