The Legal Intake Manager is responsible for supervising the entire project
intake process—from the first client contact to signed
representation—ensuring that every potential client experiences
Professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. This role combines
leadership, process management, and performance analytics to
maintain a world-class intake department that supports firm growth.
The ideal candidate has at least five (5) years of experience in
Personal injury intake, demonstrates strong communication and team
leadership skills, and thrives in a metrics-driven, client-focused
environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Intake & CaseEvaluation
Answer incoming potential client (PNC) calls promptly and
gather all relevant case information.
Assess facts, injuries, damages, liability, and insurance
coverage to determine the veracity of potential cases.
Accurately enter details into the lead management systems.
Communicate with clients via phone, email, text, and video
conference to collect information and evidence.
Set appointments for qualified potential clients and coordinate
attorney consultations.
Leadership & Team Management
Oversee and manage the firm's intake process to ensure
efficiency, accuracy, and timely handling of inquiries.
Train, coach, and mentor intake specialists to improve
Communication and conversion skills, with support from Legal
Intake Pros.
Monitor team performance metrics, report on KPIs, and
Implement process improvements to optimize conversion rates.
Manage the intake team's after-hours rotation (one week per
month on call).
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work closely with attorneys and case managers to ensure...
Seamless case handoffs and accurate data collection.
Collaborate with the marketing team to provide insights on lead
sources and ROI tracking in Lead Docket.
Continuously evaluate and refine intake workflows to enhance
client satisfaction and team productivity.
Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with legal and firm
policies.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree
● At least 5 years' experience working on a personal injury intake
team or as a Case Manager in a personal injury law firm.
● Tech-savvy with experience using Lead Docket and/or Filevine;
or other legal management systems.
● Bilingual Spanish not required but a plus.
● Strong leadership and management skills

Compensation & Benefits
● Salary $70,000 to $80,000
● Quarterly Bonuses based upon performance and KPIs.
● Paid Time Off (PTO): 10 days' annual vacation; 6 days
