Overview:

The Lead Revenue Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the financial inventory for a diverse portfolio of partners. This role involves full ownership of the portfolio through the execution and management of Work in Progress (WIP), billing, and collections. A highly visible position, this role requires collaboration with internal teams, partners, and clients to achieve optimal portfolio management. Success in this position demands a strong commitment to service and operational excellence, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and innovation.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with partners to ensure effective execution and management of WIP, billing, and collections.
  • Provide solution-focused responses to inquiries, resolving them swiftly and efficiently.
  • Attain a thorough understanding of assigned portfolios to minimize partner involvement in operational details.
  • Prioritize and schedule work independently to meet client and partner expectations.
  • Prepare and execute client invoices accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with all client or third-party invoicing requirements.
  • Work directly with clients to secure timely and complete payment of invoices.
  • Resolve invoicing and collection disputes promptly.
  • Maintain current documentation of statuses, action plans, and processes.
  • Monitor, analyze, and take action on inventory balances using data-driven insights.
  • Develop innovative approaches to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and internal colleagues.
  • Master existing systems and contribute to the development and testing of new tools and applications.
  • Train new team members and support their onboarding.
  • Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned.


Qualifications:

Education/Training/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Professional Experience:

  • Professional services revenue management experience required.
  • Billing experience required.
  • At least three years of professional experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Technological proficiency required.
  • Advanced command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., lookups, SUMIF, pivot tables).
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications.
