Position Overview
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative on behalf of our client to support regional growth initiatives. This individual will play a key role in driving rental and equipment sales performance while serving as a central point of coordination between customers, external sales representatives, dealer partners, and internal departments.
This is a high-visibility, performance-driven role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with regional sales leadership to support execution of rental and equipment sales strategies.
- Provide internal sales coordination and administrative support for field sales professionals.
- Oversee and verify completion of required transactional documentation (contracts, purchase orders, invoices, proof of insurance, title documentation, etc.).
- Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and expectations.
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting efforts and follow-up on inbound inquiries.
- Build and manage relationships with both new and existing accounts.
- Represent the organization at industry events when needed.
- Meet or exceed established activity benchmarks and revenue goals.
- Contribute to regional fleet utilization and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of pipeline activity, customer communication, and sales progress.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in recurring team meetings focused on performance alignment and operational updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of inside sales experience with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level or large-scale accounts is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software tools.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Willingness to travel overnight on a limited basis (approximately 10%).
