Compensation: $150K Base | Uncapped OTE (Top performers expected to exceed $500K)
The Opportunity: Leading a Market Disruption
We have been retained by a high-growth HealthTech/Fintech startup that is fundamentally redefining employee benefits for the multi-billion dollar Government Contracting (GovCon) industry. Their platform is the first of its kind to automate the complex "fringe benefit" requirements that GovCons face, utilizing a modern ICHRA (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement) model.
Our client has the technology, a $9M+ warm pipeline, and the high-level industry intros already in place. They are looking for a Sales Pro, a heavy hitter who understands the broker/HR ecosystem and can turn a massive backlog of interest into closed revenue.

What You’ll Do

The Hunter & Educator: Own the full sales cycle, focusing on B2B sales into HR leadership and, crucially, the Broker/Consultant ecosystem.

Strategic Partnerships: Act as a subject matter expert, educating brokers on the power of ICHRA and GovCon fringe optimization to turn them into long-term lead engines.

Travel to Win: This is a high-engagement role. You will be on the ground at industry events in GovCon hubs (DC, Huntsville, etc.) and traveling to the company’s Miami headquarters at least quarterly.

Manage the Engine: Utilize Salesforce to aggressively move the $9M+ existing pipeline toward close.
Who You Are (The "Ace")

The Industry Expert: 7+ years of B2B sales experience specifically within benefits technology, health insurance, or the brokerage world.

The "Relationship" Closer: You don’t just pitch; you build trust. You likely possess a deep network of brokers and HR executives and a proven "book of business."

The Consultant: You have the intellectual horsepower to take a complex topic (like Government Fringe or ICHRA) and make it sound simple and profitable to a client.

The Startup Athlete: You thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. You don’t need a manual; you prefer to write the one that leads to the win.

Geography: Ideally based in a GovCon hub like DC/Northern Virginia, Huntsville (AL), or the Tampa area, but remote is an option for a candidate willing to be a "road warrior."
Bonus Points For:
- Specific experience with ICHRA or Government Contracting/Prevailing Wage (Service Contract Act/Davis-Bacon) laws.
- A background at a top-tier brokerage (e.g., Hub International, Marsh McLennan) with a desire for the massive upside and speed of a startup environment.
