This role is a high-impact leadership appointment for a premier European consultancy aggressively scaling its U.S. presence. We are seeking an entrepreneurial Director to lead major engagements and serve as a cornerstone for the firm’s domestic expansion.

  • Strategic Growth: Opportunity to take immediate ownership of key accounts and complex cases, with a clear and structured roadmap to Partnership.
  • Portfolio Ownership: The Director will be empowered to manage and grow a portfolio of $3M–$4M in annual work, benefiting from a firm-wide culture of profit-sharing.
  • Organizational Impact: High level of autonomy in leveraging Manager-level and junior staff to drive technical excellence and practice profitability.


Key Responsibilities


  • Expert Witness Services: Lead the drafting of comprehensive expert reports and provide live testimony/depositions in high-stakes construction dispute proceedings.
  • Business Development: Serve as a primary client interface, leveraging the firm's global reputation to expand domestic market share.
  • Technical Directorship: Oversee complex forensic delay analyses, cost overrun assessments, and CPM scheduling reviews.
  • Team Development: Supervise and mentor junior consultants, ensuring the highest standards of technical delivery across the U.S. team.


Candidate Profile


We are looking for a technical expert with the commercial "gravity" to lead a practice.


  • Experience: 8–10+ years specializing in Construction Disputes (Delay & Quantum).
  • Testimony: Proven track record of appearing as a testifying expert or providing depositions.
  • Authoring: Demonstrated ability to independently author and sign off on expert reports.
  • Technical Skills: Mastery of CPM scheduling, forensic delay methodologies, and dispute resolution.
  • Vision: An entrepreneurial mindset focused on building a practice and participating in firm-wide profits.


Comp: 200K - 275K base + sign-on + guaranteed bonus year 1
