VC-backed technology startup dedicated to innovation and excellence in the sports industry. We seek a world-class Senior Full-Stack Engineer to support our product growth. The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who thrives on writing clean, efficient code and has the leadership experience to guide technical decisions. You’ll work across our entire tech stack, from mobile frontends to scalable backend systems, while collaborating with a talented team of engineers, designers, and product managers. This is a hands-on role—coding is your primary focus—but your experience as a tech lead or CTO will help us refine our architecture, mentor the team, and drive best practices.

Responsibilities

·        Design, develop, and maintain features across our frontend (React Native) and backend (NestJS) systems.

·        Build and optimize GraphQL APIs using Apollo to ensure seamless communication between services.

·        Manage and enhance our database systems (PostgreSQL with TypeORM) and analytics pipelines (Snowflake).

·        Leverage AWS services (Lambda, S3, Cognito) to deploy scalable, serverless infrastructure.

·        Implement caching (Redis) and messaging (SQS) solutions to improve performance and reliability.

·        Monitor and troubleshoot production issues using Sentry and AWS X-Ray.

·        Collaborate with the team to define technical roadmaps, review code, and ensure high-quality delivery.

·        Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, balancing hands-on coding with strategic input.

What We’re Looking For

·        5+ years of full-stack development experience, with a strong focus on writing production-ready code.

·        Proven tech leadership experience, ideally as a CTO or Tech Lead, with a track record of guiding teams and owning technical strategy.

·        Expertise in our tech stack:

o  Frontend: React Native (Expo), TypeScript, NativeWind (TailwindCSS), GlueStack UI.

o  Backend: NestJS, Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL (Apollo).

o  Database: PostgreSQL (TypeORM), Snowflake (or similar analytics platforms).

o  Infrastructure: AWS Lambda, S3, Cognito, Redis, SQS.

o  Monitoring: Sentry, AWS X-Ray.

·        A hands-on coder at heart—someone who loves building.

·        Strong understanding of scalable architecture, performance optimization, and modern development practices.

·        Outstanding English-language communication skills and a collaborative mindset for a fully-remote environment.

·        Bonus: Experience with mobile app deployment (iOS/Android) or serverless architectures.
