We are seeking an organized and experienced Sales Manager to lead our high-performing sales team. This unique role combines traditional sales management with workshop fulfillment responsibilities, including participating in consultative round-table discussions and potential on-stage facilitation. Public speaking experience is a plus, as the goal is to develop this skillset within six months.

As a Sales Manager, you will oversee a team of 4-6 direct reports while collaborating closely with the workshop team. We are looking for a coach-first leader who values praise over punishment, creating a supportive and growth-oriented culture. You will also focus on building scalable processes, resolving technology bottlenecks, and tracking critical data to drive sales performance.


Key Responsibilities:


Team Leadership:


  • Manage a B2B sales team of 4-6 members, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
  • Provide coaching and training to improve team performance and individual development.
  • Foster a positive culture by delivering constructive feedback and motivating the team.


Operational Excellence:


  • Address technology bottlenecks, including optimizing POS systems and manual payment processing.
  • Build and refine processes in an operationally heavy, data-driven environment.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, such as:
  • Sales velocity
  • Show rate
  • Close rate
  • Offer rate
  • Pipeline management


Workshop Fulfillment:


  • Support workshop execution, including client-facing interactions.
  • Participate in consultative discussions and develop facilitation skills for on-stage workshops.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration with marketing and other departments to meet sales-related needs.


Qualifications:


Must-Have:


  • 4+ years of experience managing a B2B sales team of 4-10 members.
  • Proven track record of hiring, training, and developing sales teams.
  • Metrics-driven approach with examples of successful KPI management.
  • Experience with in-person sales and face-to-face client interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build processes and operate in technology-heavy environments.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills, with a focus on turning around underperformers and fostering long-term motivation.

  • Experience in workshop or event sales.

Compensation:


  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $90,000 - $180,000 (Base + Bonus)


Reporting Structure:


  • Reports to: Director of Sales
  • Reports to Them: 4-6 team members (likely closer to 4 initially).
