Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain IT infrastructure, including cloud, servers, and networks.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line IT support, acting as an escalation point for junior team members.
  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure.
  • Serve as a technical consultant for internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Deliver IT education for internal staff and external customers.
  • Resolve complex issues across networking, security, and end-user systems.
  • Manage patching, backups, and compliance for all devices and environments.
  • Administer Windows Server, Azure/Intune, Defender, Active Directory, Group Policy, and more.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, ensuring high first-time fix rates.
  • Manage support tickets and work on various projects.


Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of Windows Server stack, Office 365, and Azure
  • Proficiency in Office 365/Azure, including setting up new tenancies and migrating businesses.
  • Experience with RMM tools, SharePoint, and endpoint security.
  • Advanced networking skills, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and firewall management.
  • Strong documentation skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Practical experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel between sites as needed.


Desirable:

  • Project management and IT governance frameworks knowledge.
  • Microsoft and/or AWS certifications.
  • Experience with VMWare/Hyper-V, ITIL practices, and Cyber Security certifications.
  • Familiarity with MAC technology and MDM solutions.
