Responsibilities:


This isn't just an HR role; it's a chance to be a strategic business partner, a leader, and a champion for our people. You'll be instrumental in:

  • Leading, Managing, and Driving Accountability (LMA): Develop and empower the HR team, partner with senior leaders on strategic initiatives, and leverage HR metrics for data-driven decisions. Oversee risk management (health and safety) and play a key role in labor relations, including negotiations and grievance resolution.
  • Optimizing People Capital Processes: Guide managers through employee relations, drive smooth transitions for employment changes (hires, promotions, transfers), and ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Support HR and hiring managers in attracting and onboarding top talent.
  • Mastering Salary Administration & HRIS: Oversee compensation plans and maintain a robust and efficient Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Shaping Talent Succession & Planning: Develop and implement training programs, create organizational development strategies, and ensure strong succession plans are in place for key positions.
  • Overseeing Benefits & Rewards: Lead the development and implementation of our comprehensive employee benefits strategy.


What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years in a people management role (managing an HR Team)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor relations and union negotiations. Manufacturing and international experience are a plus.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity, excellent judgment, a strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on commitments, and manage time effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid business acumen, pragmatism, and the ability to balance business needs with employee advocacy.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, high integrity, trustworthiness, self-confidence, and self-awareness.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and HRIS (Paylocity HRIS experience a plus).
  • A Human Resources certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is required in lieu of a Degree in Human Resources.


**Required to be onsite in Milwaukee office 5 days per week
