  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls
  • Manage external audits, tax processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and reporting capabilities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning efforts
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives such as capital investments, system upgrades, and potential M&A activity
  • Build and develop a high-performing accounting team

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
  • 7–10+ years of progressive experience, including 3–5+ years in a leadership role
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Deep expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and standard costing
  • Experience operating in multi-site or multi-entity environments is a plus
  • Strong systems orientation, including ERP platforms and advanced Excel
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements and strengthen controls
  • Analytical, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator with the ability to partner cross-functionally

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary
  • Performance-based bonus
  • Comprehensive benefits package

Additional Context

This is an opportunity to step into a critical leadership role within a growing manufacturing business that is investing in its infrastructure and operations. The Controller will play a central role in professionalizing the finance function and partnering with leadership to drive performance.
