This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced HR professional who wants to build, modernize, and scale a best-in-class HR function in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
The Role
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing all HR initiatives aligned with the company’s growth trajectory. This leader will strengthen culture, elevate performance, and build a high-performing workforce while overseeing a small, capable HR team.
You will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving organizational effectiveness, change management, and long-term talent strategy in a dynamic, operational setting.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
- Partner with senior leaders to design and execute HR strategies aligned with business goals, growth initiatives, and potential acquisitions.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a comprehensive HRIS, transitioning from paper-based processes to a scalable digital platform.
- Provide guidance on organizational design, succession planning, and change management.
- Champion culture initiatives that reinforce core values and promote an equitable, inclusive, and transparent workplace.
- Use HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and improve organizational performance.
Talent Management & Development
- Build and execute comprehensive talent acquisition and employer branding strategies.
- Oversee performance management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and a culture of accountability.
- Design leadership development and career-pathing programs to strengthen the leadership pipeline.
- Partner with the HR Generalist on workforce planning and key HR program execution.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and compliance.
- Develop programs that enhance engagement, communication, recognition, and well-being.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with company strategy.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Establish and maintain a robust compliance framework across federal, state, and local regulations.
- Ensure accurate and efficient HR operations, including benefits, leave management, and data integrity.
- Optimize HR systems and processes to improve service delivery and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in manufacturing or a similar environment.
- Proven experience leading full-cycle HRIS implementations in fast-paced, growth environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- High technical aptitude in HR systems, data management, and security best practices.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
