Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA 

Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite

Overview 


A rapidly growing industrial manufacturer in Wilkes-Barre is seeking an ERP Master Planner to play a critical role in optimizing production planning, ERP processes, and supply chain execution. 


This is a high-impact role supporting a company currently exceeding 30% growth and expanding operations across multiple plants. The ERP Master Planner will help strengthen planning processes, improve ERP data integrity, and drive continuous operational improvements. 


Important: Direct experience with M1 ERP is NOT required. Candidates with strong hands-on ERP implementation and planning experience in other ERP systems will be trained on M1. 


This role requires a strong planning leader who can take ownership of ERP-driven planning processes, influence operations, and drive process improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities 


  • Own and lead ERP-driven production planning and material requirements planning (MRP) 
  • Develop and maintain Master Production Schedules (MPS) 
  • Run MRP cycles and resolve planning exceptions (shortages, overdue components, scheduling conflicts) 
  • Maintain and improve ERP data accuracy, including: 
  • Bills of Materials (BOMs) 
  • Routings 
  • Lead times 
  • Safety stock levels 
  • Planning parameters 
  • Drive planning process improvements and ERP optimization initiatives 
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, procurement, engineering, finance, and leadership 
  • Support ERP implementation improvements and operational scaling 
  • Monitor and improve key planning metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, and planning accuracy 
  • Support new product introductions and operational expansion 

 

Required Qualifications 


  • 3+ years of experience in: 
  • Production planning 
  • Master scheduling 
  • Materials planning 
  • OR supply chain planning in a manufacturing environment 
  • Strong ERP experience with hands-on MRP ownership 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in planning, scheduling, or supply chain functions 
  • Experience maintaining or correcting: 
  • BOMs 
  • Routings 
  • Lead times 
  • Safety stock levels 
  • Planning parameters 
  • Experience resolving MRP exceptions and material shortages 
  • Direct ownership of production or materials planning processes 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills 
  • Ability to operate independently and influence cross-functional teams 
  • Must be onsite in Wilkes-Barre, PA (local or willing to relocate) 

 

Preferred Experience (Not Required) 


  • M1 ERP experience (training provided) 
  • ERP implementation or ERP process improvement leadership 
  • Background in industrial manufacturing environments such as: 
  • CNC machining 
  • Fabrication 
  • Job shop manufacturing 
  • Industrial equipment manufacturing 
  • Experience working in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments 
  • Advanced Excel skills
