Supply Chain Practice Leader

Position Overview

The Supply Chain Practice Leader is passionate about advancing the procurement and supply chain profession. This individual is a problem solver, innovator, and intellectually curious leader with a strong desire to make a meaningful impact on the field.

This role is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of high-quality content, products, and solutions for procurement and supply chain practitioners. The products and solutions developed will address current and emerging organizational challenges, exceed customer expectations, and drive revenue growth.

The Practice Leader plays a key role in ensuring the organization maintains and advances its position as a market leader in procurement and supply chain education, assessments, content, and thought leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate regularly with internal teams, members, customers, volunteers, subject matter experts, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Proactively stay current on industry trends and anticipate future developments within procurement and supply chain
  • Facilitate discussions with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Develop and update training content, assessments, and product offerings aligned with market needs
  • Present to customers on key supply chain topics, industry challenges, and product solutions
  • Support the sales team as a supply chain subject matter expert during customer engagements
  • Work with corporate clients to improve supply chain performance through professional training and development programs
  • Apply adult learning methodologies including case studies, simulations, facilitated exercises, and action learning techniques

Success in this position requires:

  • Deep understanding of procurement and supply chain management
  • Ability to translate customer insights and feedback into impactful content and product solutions
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills (virtual and in-person)
  • Experience in training, change management, and practitioner development
  • Ability to interpret data and effectively communicate insights in a compelling way


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related function
  • CPSM or equivalent certification preferred
  • Ability to travel to facilitate training sessions, speaking engagements, and customer meetings as needed
  • Dynamic and engaging communication style
  • Strong presentation skills in both live and virtual environments
  • Competency in data analysis for training delivery and content development (advanced Microsoft Excel preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technology tools
  • Consultative mindset and strong customer focus (internal and external)
  • Recognized thought leadership in Procurement or Supply Chain
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative team orientation and high level of personal accountability
