A fast-growing organization operating at the intersection of AI and crypto is bringing its communications function in-house and is looking for a senior leader to own global PR, narrative development, and crisis response.

Role Overview

This role leads all external communications strategy across major global regions and sets the messaging foundation for the company’s work in both emerging technologies and decentralized systems. You will shape narratives, build direct media relationships, manage issues and crisis communication, and act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and define the global PR strategy spanning the US, Europe, and APAC.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier media outlets and high-impact journalists.
• Drive earned media around launches, ecosystem milestones, and strategic partnerships.
• Craft compelling narratives tailored to both AI- and crypto-native audiences.
• Lead crisis communications, including playbooks, messaging, statements, and executive guidance.
• Direct external agencies as needed while keeping overall strategy centralized internally.
• Prepare founders and senior leaders for press interactions, interviews, and briefings.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in PR or Communications with ownership of narrative and strategy.
• A proven ability to land top-tier media coverage through direct journalist relationships.
• Strong personal media network; experience beyond agency-driven work.
• Background in crypto — such as L1/L2 networks, exchanges, or major ecosystem projects.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both mainstream and crypto-native audiences.
• Demonstrated crisis communications experience in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.
• Based in the US, Europe, or APAC with flexibility to collaborate globally.
