Grow the product and partner ecosystem through protocol launch and beyond.
Be a public-facing representative of the protocol and associated product, and an expert on both, engaging with partners and customers across the web3 space.
Develop the foundational components of the business development capability, including team processes, the requisite tech stack, and business goals for both the protocol and associated product.
Build relationships with relevant prospects and stakeholders to ensure that the business development pipeline generates high conversion rates for both the protocol and product.
Develop a strong pipeline of partnerships, driving growth through user activity, volume, and product development.
Ensure rapid expansion into new markets that align with product and business goals, fostering healthy and forward-looking growth for the products.
We’re looking for you if:
You have previous successful experience (i.e., a company with a proven track record with success milestones related to product or acquisition) as a tech startup operator in a similar business development leadership role.
You have a demonstrated track record of creative dealmaking, negotiating favorable terms aligned with product and company goals while iterating rapidly on improving processes with new partners.
You have experience building a business development function from scratch, as well as managing and scaling BD teams.
You’re eager to return to the early-stage environment, embracing the hustle it requires.
You’re highly proficient with business development tools and other general digital organizational tools (e.g., Notion, Slack, etc.).
Nice-to-haves:
3+ years of experience in Web3 or high, provable passion for Web3.
Web3 product strategy experience.
Large social following, especially on Twitter and LinkedIn, or offset by an existing network of possible leads.
