Metrics is seeking a highly experienced and crypto native Global Head of Sales to join a leadership team reporting to the CBO. You’ll be spearheading our efforts in capital attraction and project expansion, at the forefront of shaping the adoption of liquid restaking tokens , and leading our global efforts to expand our footprint across wallets, custodians, capital markets, and ecosystem partners. Your leadership will define how we bring our cutting-edge liquid restaking solutions to the next million users.
Your impact
● Team management : Lead, inspire and scale a high-performing sales team, growing the current team to achieve impactful results.
● Revenues growth and expansion : Implement and execute sales programs designed to attract capital and foster the acquisition, development and retention of strategic relationships within targeted key accounts.
● Key account management : Take ownership of establishing and managing relationships with UHNWI and capital markets institutions to meet business objectives.
● Influence the company's product roadmap by aligning customer feedback with business priorities and revenue goals.
● Public representation : Act as Kelp’s ambassador at industry conferences, clients events and high-visibility forums.
● Cross-functional collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams like Business Development to deliver tailored solutions that meet the needs of clients.
● Shape LRTs adoption : Help shape the future of decentralized finance by driving the adoption of liquid restaking solutions.
Requirements
● Minimum of 5+ years of experience in capital markets and financial service sales including 3y in DeFi.
● Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
● Deep expertise working with the DeFi ecosystem, custodians, asset managers,crypto hedge funds, liquidity providers and commercial banks.
● Deep expertise in building a strong sales / BD / GTM engine.
● Demonstrated ability to engage and influence leadership executives with confidence.
● Strong experience negotiating complex commercial deals.
● Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset - able to build something from the ground up (e.g. startup, new department or revenue line).
● In-depth understanding of the staking and restaking landscape, including challenges and opportunities for scaling.
Preferred requirements
● Experience working with DeFi lending markets and exchanges, custodians and capital markets.
● Previous experience within a leading crypto hedge fund, digital asset management, custodian, or commercial bank company.
● Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with a credible stage presence for representing Kelp at industry events.
● Proven ability to lead and scale initiatives, business or departments from scratch
